Victoria Franzan
Sound Recordist / Sound Assistant
Born in Patagonia Argentina, Victoria took her first film course in her teens and started making short films and experimental videos. During a degree in Audiovisual Communication, she shot and edited many student short films. She later worked as freelance filmmaker for TV, directing corporate videos, magazine promos, and camera for live music events.
Victoria has always been interested the importance of sound for the moving image. Her passion and curiosity to capture better location recording moved her into the sound area. After working as sound recordist and boom op on many short films and the feature The Symmetry of Love, she realized that she wanted to specialize in sound.
She has completed a Diploma course in Location Sound Recording at the National Film and Television School (NFTS). During her time there, Victoria has worked on many fictions, TV shows and documentaries as a production sound mixer and boom operator. She has the chance to work as a trainee on Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 1 and sound assistant for Artists Theatre Schools show. Victoria plans to stay in England and continue learning and developing in the sound department.
